EASTON, Pa. – Part of downtown Easton might get a major facelift and more residents.
A Bethlehem developer is looking to turn a vacant property on North Third Street into a five-story apartment complex.
The site used to be home to the Boyd Theater.
Plans for a new 84,000-square-foot building were presented to city council Wednesday night.
The complex would include 70 one-and two-bedroom units, as well as retail space on the ground floor.
City leaders originally thought of putting a parking deck in that spot, but that’s now being considered for Fourth and Church streets.
